Having worked worked professionally as a theatre-maker for over a decade, I bring this craft to my composition. I see media music as a storytelling tool and am interested in how my music can help an audience understand and connect with characters and story on an intuitive level. My aim is to paint an aural soundscape that immerses the viewer in the world of the visuals.

I can compose across a wide variety of styles, but have particular passion for two ends of the spectrum: minimalist ambient underscores and cinematic orchestral drama. The sound worlds I create are always connected to emotion, so my soundscapes are often simple & sparse, sculpting texture and harmony to underscore fragile, tense or complex inner experiences.
